The New Energy Apprenticeships Mentoring Program will play a critical role in Australia’s ambition to transition towards net zero emissions by 2050.

The Mentoring Program will run until June 2027 and will provide with career-based guidance, peer support and networking opportunities to apprentices working in clean energy-related jobs in a range of industries such as:

  • Solar
  • Wind
  • Power
  • Hydropower
  • Geothermal energy
  • Bioenergy
  • Ocean energy
  • Battery storage
  • Electrotechnology
  • Smart technology

How MEGT can help

MEGT is a New Energy Apprenticeships Mentoring Provider delivering Australian Apprenticeships Services funded by the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations. 

Our services focus on supporting apprentices as they start their career in the clean energy sector:

  • Connect apprentices with experienced employers and tradespeople in clean energy industries
  • Provide individually tailored mentoring and career-based guidance to help apprentices complete their qualification and maximise career opportunities
