Mentoring by MEGT
Research shows that apprentices and trainees who receive mentoring are more likely to increase their qualification.
Our qualified mentors can help keep you motivated and on track. We work one-on-one to offer confidential advice, feedback and encouragement when you need it most. While some apprentices develop strong bonds with their mentor and work closely together, many of our apprentices sign up to our mentoring program and enjoy knowing that if they need assistance there is someone they can reach out to.
Our support can help you in a range of areas, including:
Work and training support
- Navigating workplace hurdles. From finding your way in a new job to improving communication with your employer and colleagues, we’re here to help.
- Time management. We’ll share essential time management tips so you can balance your work and study successfully.
- Career guidance. We provide insights to help you plan your future.
- Help with your assessments. We’ll help ensure you are well prepared for off-the-job training requirements and assessments.
- Access financial incentives. Be confident as you complete your financial incentive claims.

- Mental health and wellbeing support. Our mentors can help you navigate personal challenges and ensure you can stay engaged with your training.
