When you hire an apprentice or trainee through MEGT, you become the host employer. Your role is to provide real, on-the-job experience aligned to your apprentice or trainee’s qualification through day-to-day supervision and a safe working environment.

MEGT is your apprentice or trainee’s legal employer. We connect you with quality candidates who have the right attitude and commitment to succeed in your business. We manage payroll, compliance, reporting and administration requirements, and provide ongoing support and coaching to help your apprentice or trainee stay on track and successfully complete their qualification.  

How does MEGT’s Group Training model work?

Tailored plans

Recruitment and screening

We attract, source, screen and shortlist high-quality candidates from our talent pool and industry networks to find you the best match.

Candidate selection

We conduct interviewing and pre-employment checks once a candidate is selected.

Onboarding

We coordinate contracts, RTO enrolments, training plans, and support preparation regarding safety requirements, to ensure your apprentice or trainee is job-ready.

Administration

Your apprentice, our employee. As your talent’s legal employer, we handle all the apprenticeship paperwork, regulatory requirements, risk, and ongoing RTO liaisons.

Payroll

We manage your apprentice's payroll, including super, workers’ compensation and leave. You’ll simply receive an invoice.

Training

We liaise with your talent's Registered Training Organisation and carefully track training plans to ensure learning aligns with on-the-job experiences.

Coaching and development

A dedicated MEGT coach conducts regular check-ins, supporting your talent and keeping them on track. Ongoing support helps maintain performance, engagement and retention.

Direct supervisor support

MEGT’s coaches will support your supervisors in guiding young talent, and will provide regulatory and safety updates.

Completion

If your apprentice or trainee proves to be a great fit, you can offer them direct employment at the end of their qualification at no additional cost.
