2nd Yr Boilermaker Apprentice

We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic team as a 2nd Year Boilermaker Apprentice located in Waroona. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals, gaining hands-on experience while completing formal training in a supportive and vibrant work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior boilermakers in the fabrication, assembly, installation, and maintenance of boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, and other metal structures.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements.
  • Operate and maintain various hand and power tools, such as grinders, drills, welding equipment, and cutting torches.
  • Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and fitting tasks to ensure accurate assembly and alignment of metal components.
  • Assist in the inspection and testing of completed structures to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Always adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to promote a safe work environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

  • Completion of your 1st Year of your Apprenticeship
  • Basic knowledge of welding techniques and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced boilermakers.
