Are you looking to start your career in heavy-duty diesel mechanics? We're searching for a dedicated 3rd Year Apprentice to join our team in Forrestfield. This role offers hands-on experience and the chance to work on a variety of heavy vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with diagnosing and fixing issues on all types of heavy vehicles.
- Learn how to service and repair vehicles from bumper to bumper.
- Specialize in engine rebuilds for improved performance.
- Keep the workshop clean and organized.
- Support experienced mechanics with various tasks.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks like oil and filter changes.
Requirements:
- Enthusiasm for learning about heavy-duty diesel mechanics.
- Currently enrolled in your 3rd Year of Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic apprenticeship (Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
