Fitting and Machining Apprentice

Our client, a leading provider in the fluid mechanics industry, is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as a Fitting & Machining Apprentice. Employed through MEGT, this apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to dive into the world of pump supply, installation, overhauls, and repairs.

Key Aspects of the role:

  • Work towards a Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical).
  • Gain hands on experience whilst learning on the job.
  • Full time work - 38 hours per week.
  • Enjoy early finishes on a Friday at 2pm!

What you'll be doing:

  • Pump Supply, Installation, Overhauls, and Repairs
  • Reading Drawings and Precision Measurement
  • Marking Out, Moving Materials, Cutting, Drilling, and Filing
  • Operation of Milling Machines
  • Team Collaboration and Problem-Solving
  • Working in Confined Spaces

  • Must hold a valid white card, WWCC, drivers license and have reliable transport.
