In association with MEGT, our client is recruiting for a 1st Year Roofing Plumbing Apprentice to join their expanding and successful team near the Port of Brisbane! Join our team of expert technicians and will receive extensive training with the view to becoming a qualified trade professional. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the eagerness to succeed! At the end of the 4 year apprenticeship; secure a CERT III in Roof Plumbing!
Key Duties Include (but not limited to):
- Prepare and install metal roofing products, metal cladding, guttering, rain water products and flashing
- Service, maintain and repair roofing and water products
- Roof removal and installation of down pipes
- Attend both on the job training combined with study at TAFE QLD
- Work with a combination of qualified roofers across both commercial and residential sites
The ideal candidate:
- Ability to undertake physical work/labour
- Punctual and reliable - with a good work ethic
- Attention to detail, good communication skills
- Driving license and a car (Must Have)
- A valid white card (Must Have)
- Working at heights (Must Have)
- Cert I in Construction or Cert II in Plumbing (preferable)
