CNC Machinist Apprentice

We currently have an opportunity for the right person to undertake a CNC Machinist apprenticeship.  

The successful candidate must complete a Certificate III Mechanical Engineering – Mechanical Trade. 

In return, you will be exposed to and supported with: 

• Stripping, assessing, repairing, assembling and testing mechanical seals, couplings and associated equipment 
• Manual and CNC machine operation 
• Assisting with root cause analysis investigations 
• Completing inspection and test plans consistent with meeting corporate compliance standards 
• Providing troubleshooting advice and reliability solutions 
• ​Preparing work quotations, associated documentation, and scheduling jobs . 

The successful candidate should demonstrate the following: 

• A genuine desire to become a qualified engineering tradesperson 
• Have a solid mechanical aptitude and attention to detail 
• Self-motivation with a positive work ethic 
• Commitment to on and off-the-job training 
• A willingness to learn and work within a team environment 
• Strong commitment to EHS
