Painting and Decorating Apprenticeship

We are seeking a 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice to join our team. Construction sites are located in Adelaide Metropolitan areas.

We specialise in painting interior and exterior of new and existing homes.

To be successful you will need to have the following:

• Good work ethic 
• Eager to learn

Essential:

• Drivers licence and own vehicle

Painting and decorating may be perceived to be an easy gig but that’s far from the truth! You need to acquire a certain skill set to be successful in this role. 

Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Preparing work areas and protecting surfaces not requiring painting with covers or sheets.
• Preparing areas to be painted – e.g., removing old paint, levelling surfaces, filling in cracks and holes etc.
• Painting interior and exterior walls using brushes, rollers, and other tools.
• Inspecting painted surfaces and rectifying any flaws or defects.
• Removing tools and supports and cleaning work areas.
• Use of ladders and scaffolding to reach high surfaces.
• Use of brushes and other technical equipment to paint surfaces

To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
