We have an exciting opportunity for a landscaping apprentice to join our team!
You will be working alongside our highly skilled and qualified tradespeople learning and mastering your trade.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Assist in the maintenance and construction of new/replacement garden beds and tree maintenance/planting.
- Grass cutting (using walk-behind, , edges and brush cutters).
- General tidying up and rubbish removal.
- Weed control (manual removal and minor herbicide use).
- Assure quality of work is performed to a high standard in accordance with expected standards.
- Complete study and on the job components to meet qualification requirements for Certificate III Landscaping, which includes travel for training purposes.
- All aspects of Landscaping, Paving, Retaining walls Irrigation planting etc..
To be successful you will need to have the following:
- Ability to undertake manual/physical work
- Genuine interest in landscaping
- Punctual, reliable and energetic
- High level of attention to detail
- Good, strong work ethics and time management skills
- Be a confident communicator
Preferred but not essential:
- Driver Licence (manual desirable)
- Own car
- A white card
- Experience in the field
Applicants may be required to work some Saturdays. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick start your career with an established and reputable landscaping company.
