Arex Pty Ltd is a precision Engineering firm in Picton NSW. An opportunity has become available for a CNC Machinist Apprenticeship.
This is a full-time position for a motivated person who wishes to become a CNC lathe or Mill operator.
Your will learn multi-faceted CNC lathe or mill operation & programming. You will work on a variety of interesting projects using modern 3,4 & 5 axis CNC machines.
You will learn to set jobs and work within a team environment and to achieve consistent quality outcomes.
The role is a low to medium quantity, high quality production environment, where the work is varied and interesting. The right person can progress to other areas of the business.
You will be required to also complete other duties in or around the workshop as required. Arex Pty Ltd currently has 12 employees, including 3 apprentices.
You will gain:
- Knowledge of Mastercam CADCAM programming
- Experience with 5 Axis machining.
- Familiarity with ISO-9001 QM systems
- Familiarity with CMM metrology
