Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced carpenters with various construction and carpentry tasks, including measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, as well as assembling and installing structures.
- Learn and apply safe work practices, following all relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools under the guidance of senior carpenters.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed on time.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organised work area.
Requirements:
- Strong interest in carpentry and a genuine passion for the trade.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
- The ability to work out of town when required.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation (preferred).
