Do you hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121) and want to progress your career through gaining a  Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (Traineeship)?

Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) are excited to be able to offer opportunities to join an amazing workforce of Trainee Early Childhood Educators through a Diploma traineeship with our high-profile host employers located in:

  • Littlehampton
  • Royal Park
  • O'Halloran Hill

During this traineeship, you will build on and further develop your skills and knowledge as an early childhood educator to become responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring the curriculum in early childhood education and care services.

  • Fee Free Training – ACA will cover all related RTO enrolment and training fees.
  •  A strong, dedicated support network provided by our host employer, your dedicated ACA Field Officer, and the RTO
  • Paid, rostered Study Time– up to 1 day per week 
  • Up to $2,500 paid as part of the Apprentice Support Payment paid over 2 years, eligibility criteria must be met.

About the roles

Through on-the-job training, you will learn about the intellectual, social, emotional, physical needs and educational development of children and how to support that.

You will learn to be a lead educator, who implements an approved learning framework within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standards..

What we need from you. 

  • The willingness and motivation to study towards a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care Traineeship (CHC50121).
  • Dedication to developing children and fostering their potential 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • A friendly and energetic demeanour

Eligibility 

  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or a permanent Australian resident 
  • Have a current South Australia Driver's licence 
  • Have your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121) 
  • Working with Children Check 
  • National Police Clearance 
  • Possess a kind and compassionate demeanour, excellent teamwork skills and can communicate with people of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds

To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
