Located in Teneriffe Brisbane, L'Artiste Coiffeur is currently seeking an Apprentice Hairdresser (1st 2nd and 3rd year) to join our salon. We provide one-on-one training with the Salon's Artistic Director. Our speciality is in Hair Cutting and French Balayage Techniques.
We are looking in particular for someone who is confident enough and willing to work on the floor dealing with a high-end clientele.
If you have a genuine interest in hair and wish to gain hands on experience in the industry, then this may be the job for you.
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Is keen to learn all aspects of the trade.
- Is passionate about hairdressing.
- Has good customer service skills and is very well presented.
Duties include:
- Greeting customers and answering phones.
- Performing hairdressing duties such as basin work, trims, and hair treatments.
- Salon tidying and general cleaning.
- Observing different treatments and assisting qualified hairdressers where needed.
