Landscaping Apprentice

We have an exciting opportunity for a landscaping apprentice to join our team!  

You will be working alongside our highly skilled and qualified tradespeople learning and mastering your trade. 

Responsibilities for this position include:  

  • Assist in the maintenance and construction of new/replacement garden beds and tree maintenance/planting.  
  • Grass cutting (using walk-behind, ride-on and our-front mowers, edges and brush cutters). 
  • General tidying up and rubbish removal.  
  • Weed control (manual removal and minor herbicide use).  
  • Assure quality of work is performed to a high standard in accordance with expected standards.  
  • ​Complete study and on the job components to meet qualification requirements for Certificate III Landscaping, which includes travel for training purposes.  

To be successful you will need to have the following: 

Must have: 

  • Ability to undertake manual/physical work 
  • Genuine interest in landscaping 
  • Punctual, reliable and energetic 
  • High level of attention to detail  
  • Good, strong work ethics and time management skills 
  • ​Be a confident communicator 

Preferred but not essential: 

  • Driver Licence (manual desirable) 
  • Own car  
  • A white card 
  • ​Experience in the field 

Applicants may be required to work some Saturdays. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick start your career with an established and reputable landscaping company.
