Atlas Concrete and Landscapes have an exciting opportunity for a 1st to 4th year landscaping apprentice to join our team!
You will be working alongside our highly skilled and qualified tradespeople learning and mastering your trade.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Fit and able to navigate rough terrain on any work site?
- Willing to work hard, in all weather conditions?
- Enthusiastic and ready to join a supportive, family owned business where you will be valued and appreciated as part of a great team?
- A desire to learn all aspects of landscaping for example, constructing retaining walls, fencing, decks, pergolas, planting and paving.
- Desire to learn how to operate earth moving machinery?
- Assure quality of work is performed to a high standard in accordance with expected standards.
- Complete study and on the job components to meet qualification requirements for Certificate III Landscaping, which includes travel for training purposes.
- This position is available to all ages, we encourage mature apprentices to apply.
To be successful you will need to have the following:
- Ability to undertake manual/physical work
- Genuine interest in landscaping
- Punctual, reliable and energetic
- High level of attention to detail
- Good, strong work ethics and time management skills
- Be a confident communicator
Preferred but not essential:
- Driver Licence (manual desirable)
- Own car
- A white card
- Experience in the field
Applicants may be required to work some Saturdays. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick start your career with an established and reputable landscaping company.
