Are you a high school student or have recently finished year 12 and looking to enter a carpentry apprenticeship?
An opportunity exists for an apprentice to join our team at Nail'd Carpentry.
We are a general building company, specialising in all aspects of general building. Quality is our focus for all work that we perform.
We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and able to practise efficiency and show great initiative, with demonstrated abilities in a hands-on role, and have a common-sense approach.
Our Scope of works on our projects include:
- Timber Floor, Decking and Structural Framing
- External Claddings (Timber, Cement Sheet, Prefinished Panels, Composite Panels)
- Internal Claddings, Timber wall linings, Timber ceilings, Ply cladding, Timber Feature works
- Solid Timber flooring
- Staircases internal and external
- Installation of Door Hardware
- Installation of Skirtings/Architraves/Custom Trims
- Installation of Sanitary Hardware
- Heritage Carpentry Works
Applicants must have the following:
- Drivers licence (or must be able to get too and from work, and be working on getting Ps)
- White card (or willing to get it)
- Basic knowledge of hand tools/ power tools
- Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentry
- Physically fit and capable
