Are you motivated and eager to be part of a growing business? Small Home Projects is expanding and we're on the lookout for exceptional individuals to join our team. We currently have an opening for an Apprentice Landscape Gardener (Immediate start).
To be considered for this position, please ensure you possess the following qualifications:
- While a Trade Background is preferred, it is not essential.
- Possession of a current White card.
- Access to your own transportation.
- Ability to operate machinery (preferred), handle tools, and use measuring devices accurately.
- A strong work ethic, pride in workmanship, and an impeccable attention to detail.
- Proficient in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Capacity to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and effectively troubleshoot.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team or independently.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Safe Work Practices.
- Possession of a valid manual driver's license.
- Ability to undertake manual/physical work.
- Genuine interest in landscaping.
- Punctual, reliable and energetic.
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities for this position include:
- To assist in maintaining and developing the designated areas to the required standard in a timely manner.
- Assist in the maintenance and construction of new/replacement garden beds and tree maintenance/planting.
- Grass cutting (using walk-behind, ride-on and our-front mowers, edges and brush cutters).
- General tidying up and rubbish removal.
- Weed control (manual removal and minor herbicide use).
- Assure quality of work is performed to a high standard in accordance with expected standards.
- Complete study and on job components to meet qualification requirements for Cert III Landscaping, which includes travel for training purposes.
