Playing a role in keeping online communities safe

20 October, 2020

MEGT has partnered with the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) to actively share intelligence about cyber threats, to help keep Australia’s online businesses and communities safe.

The partnership will help identify issues and create solutions which can be developed and shared to rectify and prevent both existing and potential security threats.

The relationship with Australia’s leading cyber security body is a demonstration of MEGT’s firm commitment to helping create solutions for all sectors and industries, along with the individuals they employ.

Cyber-related crime affects almost one in three Australian adults, and costs businesses alone almost $30 billion a year.

This new initiative means MEGT is better able to identify and share information with Australia’s peak agency, helping position it at the forefront of efforts to reduce and minimise cyber threats right across the country.
