MEGT launched its’ first ever First Nations Traineeship Program, ‘Cooee’, in March 2025.
Ten trainees officially commenced their Certificate III or IV in Business in locations such as Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
The traineeships take 12 months to complete, including three four-month work rotations throughout the MEGT workplaces where they are situated.
It’s all designed to give participants as much experience as possible across different parts of the business.
Once our trainees have completed their rotations, it’s hoped they will progress into continuing employment within MEGT.
