CitiPower and Powercor are offering up to eight scholarships for First Peoples to help remove barriers to undertaking an electrical pre-apprenticeship.
Successful applicants will be offered a $2,000 scholarship each, along with all the personal protective equipment (PPE) they need.
They’ll also get additional hands-on training at CitiPower and Powercor depots.
The 2025 program is running across Bunurong (Brooklyn), Wurundjeri (Burnley), Dja Dja Wurrung (Bendigo), Yorta Yorta (Shepparton), Wadawurrung (Ballarat), Gunditjmara and Eastern Maar (Warrnambool) Countries.
