MEGT retains its status as the only National Provider - operating in all states of Australia - for the Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN) Contract

MEGT is proud and excited to formally announce that we have maintained our status as a preferred provider for the Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN) after the results for the new AASN contract were released.

Under the new AASN contract, which is due to launch nationally on 1 February 2020, MEGT will retain its status as Australia's largest and only national Apprenticeship Network Provider. We will continue operations in all six states nationally.

The primary objective of the new AASN contract is to increase apprenticeship and traineeship completion rates significantly. MEGT will help to support this objective by expanding our Gateway and Mentoring Services as well as implementing a new and innovative service delivery approach for our apprenticeship support services. The expansion and refinement of these services allows us to provide an even higher level of support to employers, apprentices and trainees throughout the apprenticeship or traineeship life cycle.

According to Senator the Hon Michaelia Cash, Minister for Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business, “We are improving the Support Network to help get even more apprentices enrolled and trained up for rewarding careers and to help meet employers’ skills needs.”

Bridie Gildea, CEO (Acting) of MEGT commented, “MEGT is proud to again be named a preferred provider of the Australian Apprenticeship Support Network. We are pleased to be continuing to provide services across all six states nationally.”

Paul Bennett, ANP General Manager at MEGT said, “Being awarded the AASN contract is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, and we will continue to improve and expand upon the quality of the resources we provide to employers, apprentices and trainees.”

We are looking forward to rolling out the changes to our services under the new AASN contract. By improving on our current services, we will be able to deliver an even higher level of service to our employers, apprentices and trainees.

MEGT will continue to be Australia's largest and only national Apprenticeship Network Provider, and we remain your local apprenticeship experts.
