Kaleel, a proud First Nations Australian, is forging a new path in Murgon, where he is currently studying a Certificate III in Horticulture with a focus on water culture. Kaleel has embraced the opportunity to work in an industry that connects him to both nature and purpose.
After spending time away from home, Kaleel made the decision to return to his hometown with a clear mission: to build a meaningful career and become a role model for his younger cousins and his community.
"My favourite part of the job is to help the local residents." He says. "I'm pushing myself every day to learn and grow, and MEGT have supported me a lot; providing career advice, help with claims and more."
Through his training and on-the-ground experience, Kaleel is not just building a career—he’s helping nurture a stronger, more resilient community. With determination and heart, Kaleel is growing a future he—and his family—can be proud of, one rooted in culture, care, and the spirit of giving back.
