Introducing MEGT’s new CEO (Acting), Bridie Gildea

3 June, 2019

MEGT is very pleased to announce the appointment of Bridie Gildea as CEO (Acting) effective from Monday 3 June 2019.

After 27 years with the company, MEGT’s current CEO and Executive Director, David Windridge will commence long service leave effective Monday 3 June 2019. He will continue in his role as CEO while on leave, with Bridie taking on the role of CEO (Acting) during this period.

Bridie will then officially transition to the role of MEGT CEO following David’s retirement on 3 January 2020.

From strength to strength…

Bridie commenced her journey with us as an Apprenticeship Network Provider (ANP) State Manager in March 2013 and quickly transitioned through MEGT to become General Manager, ANP in December 2013.

With over 25 years of experience in the Vocational Education and Training sector, and extensive knowledge of the ANP and Group Training industries, Bridie’s focus and leadership have seen MEGT’s ANP team go from strength to strength. Bridie is also a member of the National Australian Apprenticeship Association (NAAA) Board and is currently completing her Master of Business.

Bridie’s experience aligns perfectly with MEGT’s vision of providing real, sustainable training and employment opportunities for local communities nationwide. Moving forward, we’re confident that this expertise, along with Bridie’s passion and innovation, will result in substantial growth for MEGT.

We’re excited to share this next step with our valued clients and look forward to delivering an even greater level of service to Australian employers, apprentices and trainees.
