ATEC Group Training are seeking Data & Voice Communication Apprentice's for work across Adelaide to start immediately! This is a great opportunity to start your Data & Voice Communication Apprenticeship in a fast paced environment.
As a Data & Voice Communications Apprentice, you will receive off the job training and gain relevant competencies aligned to communication and optical fibre sector whilst working in the construction, maintenance and operation of equipment relating to the Data & Voice Communications industry.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Work on telephone, fax and computer networks, security and access control systems.
- Prepare site for infrastructure for cabling.
- Install communications racks and equipment.
- Install communications and data cabling.
- Locate repair cable faults.
- Jumper or patch services through cabling.
- Terminate, test and certify cable performance.
- Work with optical fibre, coaxial and multi pair cables.
To be considered for the role, you must -
- Have a current Driver's licence and transport.
- White card.
- Be able to work as part of a team.
- Be safety conscious.
- Be physically fit and energetic.
- Be reliable and punctual.
