IND Window fabrications has an opportunity for an apprentice carpenter to join the team. Looking for a 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th year apprentice.
We are a Melbourne based company with on going work in Hobart and Launceston areas.
We specialise in the installation of window and facade systems. Works included but not limited to: Installation of door and window frames, hanging door, glazing, skylights, installation of facade sytems and all types of cladding.
Excellent opportunity to join a busy crew and learn from qualified tradies in a supportive environment.
To be successful you will need to have the following:
- Ability to undertake physically demanding work.
- Be reliable and punctual.
- Very keen to learn.
- Have a basic knowledge of hand tools.
- Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentry.
- Ability to get to and from work independently.
Preferred but not essential:
- Driver licence and own car.
- A white card.
- Completed a pre-apprenticeship.
- Own tools.
