AE Hoskins Building Services is one of the largest all trade building services providers in WA. We employ a team of more than 90 tradespeople across 7 key trade groups.

Initial Key Responsibilities:  

  • Learn to receive stock and maintain cleanliness to the workshop.
  • Learn to use the CNC and all cabinet making machinery.
  • Potential to learn to program cabinets on the computer.
  • Assist with all site installations.
  • Deliver cabinets and various items to work sites.

Key Learning Areas: 

  • Learn to read plans and work with precision to minimize reworks.
  • Learn to cut by hand and use a CNC machine. 
  • Learn to construct and assemble cabinet components, making sure that all pieces fit the dimensions specified by the foreman and client. 
  • View calculations to ensure alignment of doors, hinges and side panels, always using blueprints or design plans for reference. 
  • Match materials and grains to create a uniform appearance for all the matching units. 
  • Reinforce joints and attachments to maximize sturdiness and durability without compromising aesthetic appeal or functionality.

  • White card
  • COVID vaccinations

  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements
  • Physically fit and comfortable to work at heights
