Since 1892 the Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI)  has been supporting business in Albany and the Lower Great Southern by working to create a vibrant and diverse business economy that fosters growth, connectivity, strength and unity.
 
ACCI is seeking a motivated business trainee to join its team and contribute to the vibrant business community of Albany. As a key player in promoting economic growth and prosperity in the region, ACCI offers a dynamic environment where you can develop your skills and make a meaningful impact on local businesses.
 
This position is part-time and based in Albany. Previous administration experience is essential but you will be supported to continue developing your skills and obtain a Certificate IV in Business via a traineeship pathway.
 
ACCI is looking for someone who will enjoy interacting with our members, has a positive attitude, and can pick up new skills fast.
 
To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate your ability to: 

  • Communicate effectively via email, phone, and face-to-face interactions;
  • Handle enquiries promptly and professionally;
  • Adapt quickly to changing tasks and priorities;
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in tasks such as filing, data entry and record keeping;
  • Work independently, take the lead on tasks and seek out opportunities for improvement;
  • Approach problem-solving with creativity and resourcefulness, using your growing skills;
  • Operate Microsoft Office and quickly learn new systems; and
  • Foster a positive team dynamic by working collaboratively with colleagues
  • Professional and courteous manner 
  • Tidy and professional presentation 
  • Provide good Customer Service
