4th Year Motor Mechanic Apprentice

Palmer Automotive is a small family run business based in Dromana on the Mornington Peninsula. We have a position available for a 4th year Motor Mechanic apprentice to join our team.

We service all types of light vehicles and 4WD. Work hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm with no weekend work.

To be successful you will need to have the following:

Must have

• A passion for the automotive industry
• Punctual, positive and efficient
• Attention to detail
• Diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in motor mechanics

Preferred but not essential

• Current Victorian driver’s licence (manual)
• Diesel experience
• Own tools

To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
