2nd or 3rd Year Automotive Apprentice

Osborne Autos is growing and we’re looking for people to grow with us.  An excellent opportunity is available for a 2nd or 3rd year Automotive Apprentice to join our growing Service department. 

This is a full-time permanent role with ongoing Isuzu and Suzuki product training provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior mechanics in diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
  • Always follow safety protocols and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Performing minor diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Reading car manuals and following manufacturer-specific vehicle checklists
  • Carrying out routine maintenance such as oil changes or battery testing and replacing worn parts
  • Using power tools and equipment to replace or repair damaged components
  • Ordering parts as required
  • Observing and learning from senior mechanics to build industry knowledge and skills

Requirements:

  • Must have already completed at least the first year of your Apprenticeship training.
  • Enthusiasm for automotive technology and mechanics.
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid driver's licence.
