Nominations are now open for the NSW Government’s Bert Evans Apprentice Scholarships program. The program offers up to 50 scholarships annually to eligible apprentices, including 10 NSW Country Apprentice Scholarships.
Scholarship applications are open to metropolitan and country apprentices, as well as Australian School-based Apprentices.
Each scholarship can provide $5,000 a year for up to three years to eligible apprentices who may need additional financial support.
The Bert Evans Apprentice Scholarships assist apprentices in NSW who have demonstrated:
- hardship in their personal circumstances
- aptitude for vocational education and training to lead to successful completion of their trade training
- a positive attitude and application in the workplace and in off the job training
Applications close 5pm Tuesday 30 May 2017.
All submissions must include a statement from the employer and Registered Training Organisation.
