3 May, 2024

A new report has found that international students enjoy better employment outcomes after completing a Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualification in Australia.

The survey of more than 13,500 students, conducted by the National Centre for Vocation Education Research (NCVER), found that 76.6% of those students improved their employment status after training. This is an increase of 3.6% since the last survey in 2022.

Of the 82.8% of international onshore qualification completers who were employed in Australia after training, 46.9% were employed full-time, a jump of more than 10%.
