About the company:

A leading defense contractor supporting the ADF's Armoured Fighting Vehicle fleets, offering access to advanced technology, global supply chains, and over 15 years of local experience.

About the role:

This hands-on apprenticeship involves working with military-grade vehicles such as tanks and armored light vehicles, learning from experienced tradespeople while completing formal training :

  • Assist in servicing and maintaining military vehicles (e.g. Abrams, ASLAV, recovery vehicles)
  • Learn to diagnose and repair mechanical faults under supervision.
  • Use specialist tools to inspect, dismantle, and reassemble components
  • Accurately document work to meet Defence and company compliance
  • Follow strict safety, quality, and environmental procedures
  • Gain a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology


What we're looking for:

  • A strong interest in mechanics, engineering, or the Defence industry
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on, industrial setting
  • Previous experience in a mechanical, automotive, or workshop environment is desirable
  • A valid Driver's License
