About the role:

This traineeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands on experience in:

  • Be the first and last point of contact for patients - warmly welcome them on arrival, manage check-ins, and ensure a positive and professional experience at the front desk.
  • Handle appointment bookings - schedule, confirm, and manage physiotherapy appointments efficiently using clinic software.
  • Support daily admin tasks - assist with emails, referrals, data entry, scanning, filing, and maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Manage billing processes - process EFTPOS, Medicare, and health fund payments, and assist with invoicing and end-of-day reconciliations.
  • Learn and grow on the job - work alongside experienced staff while completing a Certificate III in Business in a real-world setting.

What we're looking for?

  • Friendly and professional attitude with excellent communication and people skills to create a welcoming environment for patients.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
  • Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn, including new systems and processes relevant to a clinical setting.
  • Reliable, professional, and committed to completing their traineeship - and who genuinely values health and wellbeing, both in their work and in their own life
