About the roles:
These traineeships offer a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification. As a Water Industry Trainee, you will:

Operate and maintain a variety of water and wastewater treatment plants using modern technologies to ensure safe, high-quality services.

Assist with environmental monitoring, sampling, and reporting for dam safety, surface water, algae management, and EPA compliance.

Conduct inspections, routine maintenance, and equipment calibrations to support safe and efficient plant operations.

Support operational and capital projects while contributing to continuous improvement across treatment processes.

Use digital systems such as WIMS and other software to record, monitor, and report performance and compliance data.

Travel throughout the region using a company vehicle to support field operations and maintain key infrastructure.
