SA Metro Painters is currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a full-time Apprentice Painter. Servicing the greater Adelaide metropolitan area, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification (Certificate III in Painting and Decorating) over a four-year apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities:

General residential and commercial painting
-
Surface preparation and paint application using brushes, rollers, and spray guns

Working at heights on ladders and scaffolding
-
Use and maintenance of painting tools and equipment

Site clean-up and assisting senior painters as required

Removal and replacement of doors, windows, and fittings as part of prep work

Travelling to various work sites across the Adelaide region
What We’re Looking For:

No prior painting experience required – just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Reliable, punctual, and committed to completing the full apprenticeship

Physically fit and comfortable working at heights

Own vehicle and a current driver’s licence

Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
