CFM (Aust) have positions available for a cabinet making apprentices to join their team. Perfect opportunity for 1st year apprentices who want to join a highly esteemed company and gain a thorough understanding of the Cabinet Making trade with state of the art machinery. 

We specialise in delivering all commercial joinery aspects including receptions, office areas, wall panelling, high-end kitchens, laundry's, robes, custom furniture and bathrooms.

Working with qualified and skilled cabinet makers, you will be taught all areas of factory and on-site methods to develop into a skilled and qualified cabinet maker. Opportunities to learn programming to our CNC machines and shopdrawing to Clients. 

As an apprentice your duties will include assembly, repairs, on-site installs, working with machinery and maintaining the workshop in a clean and safe manner.    

To be successful you will need to have the following: 
Must Have:

  • Basic knowledge of hand tools.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Physically fit and capable.
  • Reliable and hard-working. 
  • Be a confident communicator.

Preferred but not essential: 

  • Driver licence.
  • Own car.
  • Experience in the field with pre-apprenticeship.
  • Some of own tools.
