Position Overview:
We're seeking a dedicated 1st Year Apprentice Carpenter to join our installation team, specialising in patio and decking construction. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the trade while working on diverse residential projects, with our team completing around 8 projects per month during peak season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation of patios (insulated panel and single skin)
- Support decking projects including composite and timber decking
- Learn carpentry techniques for outdoor structures
- Assist with pergola and carport installations
- Help with site preparation and material handling
- Maintain quality standards and attention to detail
- Follow safety protocols on all job sites
Essential Requirements:
- Own reliable vehicle
- Must be able to drive manual transmission
- Own basic carpentry tools
- Willingness to learn and develop carpentry skills
- Physical fitness for construction work
- Reliable and punctual
- Team player with positive attitude
