1st or 2nd Year Landscaping Apprentice

Acorn to Oak Gardens currently have an exciting opportunity for a landscaping apprentice to join our team!  

Works based across the Mornington Peninsula through to Northern Suburbs & everywhere inbetween. 

We do mostly hardscaping, with some softscaping included. 

Responsibilities for this position include:  

  • To assist in maintaining and developing the designated areas to the required standard in a timely manner. 
  • Assist in the maintenance and construction of new/replacement garden beds and tree maintenance/planting.  
  • Grass cutting (using walk-behind, ride-on and our-front mowers, edges and brush cutters).  
  • General tidying up and rubbish removal.  
  • Weed control (manual removal and minor herbicide use).  
  • Assure quality of work is performed to a high standard in accordance with expected standards.  
  • Complete study and on job components to meet qualification requirements for Cert III Landscaping, which includes travel for training purposes.  

To be successful you will need to have the following: 
Must have: 

  • Ability to undertake manual/physical work. 
  • Genuine interest in landscaping. 
  • Punctual, reliable and energetic. 
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions. 
  • Must have car & Licence
