We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Joinery Apprentice to join our skilled team at UMJ Kitchens. This is a hands-on role designed to provide comprehensive training in both traditional and modern joinery techniques. You'll work alongside experienced tradespeople while pursuing your formal qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing timber components

Operate woodworking tools and machinery under supervision

Read and interpret technical drawings and plans

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Attend and complete required training sessions (TAFE/College/Trade School)

Support tradespeople in various tasks, both on-site and in the workshop
Required Skills & Qualities:

A strong interest in carpentry/joinery and craftsmanship

Willingness to learn and follow instructions

Basic maths and measurement skills
-
Good physical fitness and ability to handle tools and materials

Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious

Must be eligible for an approved apprenticeship program

Year 10 Completed
