We have ongoing work in all aspects of the trade:
- Roof framing and wall framing.
- Interior joinery including doors and skirting.
- Decking and Cladding.
Job Locations: Usually within a 30km radius of Cockburn. We do occasionally pick up jobs as far as Mandurah but not often.
As a Carpentry Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience working on a variety of residential construction projects. Under the guidance of an experienced Tradesperson, you will learn essential carpentry skills while working towards a Certificate III in Carpentry.
To be successful you must have the following:
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- A valid driver's licence and reliable car
Preferred but not essential:
- A White Card (or willingness to obtain one)
- Basic tools to get started (or willingness to obtain over time)
- A current police clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
- Certificate II in Building and Construction - Carpentry Pre-apprenticeship
Please note: This position is only available to 2nd year apprentices and up, basic knowledge of tools and skills is needed such as using a circular saw, drills and a hammer.
