My client is a luxury residential builder that operates across the affluent inner suburbs of Melbourne. They are looking for an apprentice carpenter (1-3 years experience) to join the team and will look to progress them to Lead Hand in the future. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is ready to apply themselves, work hard and set their career up for long term success in the luxury residential industry.

About the Builder

  • Luxury residential builder with projects ranging from $1M - $6M across affluent bayside and the SE suburbs
  • Looking for a 1–3-year apprentice who’s ready to commit themselves to a long term permanent opportunity, with the view to progress
  • Clear pathway to Lead Hand and Site Manager - they want to invest in the right person
  • You will gain exposure to some of Melbourne’s most prestigious builds
  • Vibrant, close-knit team of about 10 – really fun vibes in the office and out on site 
  • Permanent full-time opportunity, salary is in line with the award rate

About the role

  • You will be involved in everything - from framing, lock up and fix to external cladding and decking. 
  • Excellent opportunity to join a busy crew and learn from qualified tradies in a supportive environment. 

To be successful you will need:

  • Ability to undertake physically demanding work 
  • Be reliable and punctual 
  • Very keen to learn 
  • Have a basic knowledge of hand tools 
  • Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentry 
  • Ability to get to and from work independently 

Other Requirements:

  • Driver licence & Own car 
  • A white card 
  • Completed a pre-apprenticeship 
  • Own tools
