Role Overview:

We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Chef who’s keen to learn, grow, and become an important part of our kitchen team. You’ll work alongside experienced chefs in a supportive, fast-paced environment, gaining hands-on experience in both café service and catering production.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assist with daily prep tasks like chopping, portioning, and assembling meals
  • Learn the basics of dietary-conscious cooking (e.g., vegan, gluten-free, allergen-safe)
  • Support café service, including cooking on the line and plating food
  • Help with catering prep, packing, and occasional event support
  • Keep work areas clean, hygienic, and well-organised
  • Listen, learn, and bring a positive attitude to every shift
  • Build your confidence in real kitchen operations while completing your formal training

Who You Are:

  • A current 1st or 2nd year apprentice chef (enrolled with TAFE or RTO)
  • Passionate about food and excited to learn all aspects of kitchen work
  • Reliable, punctual, and ready to work as part of a team
  • Open to feedback and eager to grow your skills
  • Available for weekend work and early starts
