- Salary $43,024.80 p/a to $55,816.80 p/a + super * Salary for this position is as per the Award
- Temporary full-time position (up to 4 Years)
- 38 hours per week/ 9 day fortnight
- Undertake general Electrician tasks and electrical maintenance activities while studying to achieve an Electrician Trade qualification

About the role
Council is seeking a passionate and motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our dedicated team.
As an apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience, receive professional training, and develop the skills needed to become a qualified electrician.
Reporting to the Supervisor Trade Services, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across council properties
- Ensure electrical systems are compliant with relevant safety regulations
- Work on both small and large-scale projects alongside experienced electricians
- Learn and apply the skills required to become a fully qualified electrician
Required experience & skills:
- Year 10 Record of School Achievement or Higher School Certificate
- Commitment to complete the Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrician trade qualification
- Current Class C Driver’s licence
- Willingness to undertake WHS Construction Induction Certificate (White Card) training
- Willingness to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills evaluation with TAFE NSW
