MEGT Marketing - Social Media and Marketing Coordinator

Objectives of the Division:

The objective of the Office of CEO is to provide high level, effective and efficient support to the CEO; and Corporate department; and Divisions.

 

The primary objective of the Marketing Department is to position MEGT as a preferred provider of employment, training, education and workforce skills.


 

Objectives of the Position:

This is an important role within the Marketing division where the primary responsibilities include:

  • managing, monitoring and engaging with MEGT’s various social platforms and audiences/communities

  • sourcing, creating and publishing content on social platforms

  • coordinate marketing brand and campaign activity so they are delivered on time, within budget and to a high quality.


 

Relationships:

The role reports to the Brand & Campaign Manager and liases closely with the rest of the Marketing team.

As an in-house, shared support service, it is essential to have good working relationships with MEGT’s Executive Team, managers and staff. As the external voice of MEGT, it is also essential to build and maintain positive relationships with external customers, prospective clients, community, competitors, peers, and other industry stakeholders.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:

  • knowledge and/or proven results in brand marketing campaigns, content creation and experience in working across various social media platforms

  • experience with Microsoft Office, social media publishing, interaction and reporting (including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter), and scheduling platforms

  • a marketing or advertising qualification is desirable but not essential.


 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • plan and facilitate content curation across social media and digital channels including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and web, in line with the organisation’s tone of voice, campaign objectives and overall marketing goals

  • support the implementation of our Social Media Strategy across multiple platforms to grow MEGT’s social media presence and increase our overall brand awareness

  • using MEGT Marketing quality assurance protocols and tracking processes, facilitate the creation and delivery of projects

  • liaise with MEGT staff in order to provide quality customer service

  • build strong and successful working relationships with internal clients

  • facilitate a wide variety of BTL and ATL campaigns

  • facilitate projects with the assistance of inhouse studio personnel and external suppliers so they are delivered on time, within budget, at a high quality and fully compliant

  • daily monitoring of MEGT’s social media platforms to build the organisation’s social media communities and deliver outstanding and responsive customer service across all channels

  • work collaboratively with Graphic Designers to plan and produce visually engaging social media and campaign related content

  • keep informed of Government policy or funding updates and action or escalate content accordingly

  • regularly report on content and social media outcomes

  • work cooperatively with the Marketing team and assist with other marketing activities as required.

  • maintain a consistent and positive organisational social media presence and manage MEGT’s online communities in line with marketing strategies

  • publish and manage timely, relevant, engaging and compliant content in line with social media strategies and content plans

  • meet all briefs and deadlines as requested

  • promptly respond and engage to online comments, message and reviews across social media platforms in order to maintain company reputation, provide a high level of customer service and promote brand voice and narrative 

  • develop and maintain brand awareness and protect MEGT’s reputation across all social media platforms

  • actively foster strong positive relationships between internal and external stakeholders and the MEGT brand.

  • ensure compliance and policy procedures are maintained

  • work efficiently and effectively with all external and internal stakeholders, internal systems and processes.

All staff are required to take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of other personnel who may be affected by their conduct.
