MEGT is excited to collaborate with the Australian Turf Club - Rosehill Racecourse in their search for a passionate and driven 1st Year Parks and Gardens Apprentice. Join a team of green thumbs and embark on a journey of learning and growth within the thrilling racing industry.

ATC not only promises longevity and stability but also provides a unique opportunity to delve into the fascinating world of horse racing.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the racecourse's training facilities, parks and gardens
  • Mowing, planting, hedging, and weeding lawns and other turf areas
  • Operating and maintaining tools and equipment e.g. mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools
  • Attending and participating in TAFE weekly
  • Some Saturday work and overtime will be required depending on race days

The Requirements:

  • Drivers Licence
  • Physical fitness and motivation
  • Career focused and ability to commit to your apprenticeship
  • No previous experience is required, but should have a strong desire to learn
