We have an exciting opportunity for a Landscaping Apprentice to join our team!
You will be working alongside our highly skilled and qualified tradespeople learning and mastering your trade.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Assist in the maintenance and construction of new/replacement garden beds, retaining walls
- We also construct Playgrounds and lay rubber soft fall, this is our speciality
- Be willing to learn how to operate tools and equipment correctly
- Be prepared to travel for a few weeks at a time
- Work well within a team environment and be honest and reliable
- Assure quality of work is performed to a high standard in accordance with expected standards
To be successful you will need to have the following
Must have:
- Ability to undertake manual/physical work
- Genuine interest in landscaping
- Punctual, reliable and energetic
- High level of attention to detail
- Good, strong work ethics and time management skills
- Be a confident communicator
Preferred but not essential:
- Drivers licence
- Living in the Townsville city area
- A white card/construction card
- Be prepared to get a Blue Card
- Have transport to get to work if possible
Applicants may be required to work some Saturdays.
