Our client, a leading mining engineering company based in Kenwick, is offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate and self-motivated individual to join their First Nations Pathway Traineeship Program. This program provides a unique blend of hands-on experience and structured learning in a dynamic and supportive environment. Upon successful completion, you will earn a nationally recognised qualification, setting you up for a rewarding career in the mining industry

Working within a small team, this position offers a variety of administrative tasks and includes the below key responsibilities: 

  • Assisting management and the team with everyday administrative tasks
  • Communicating with clients and team members in person and over the phone
  • Handling data entry, filing, and maintaining records
  • Ordering office supplies like stationery, groceries, and other necessities
  • Helping organise meetings, appointments, and events
  • Supporting with general office upkeep and ensuring smooth daily operations

  • Be committed to a program of on the job learning and formal training
  • Be able to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Have completed year 10
  • Have a commitment to attendance
  • Be able to get on with others and be a team-player
  • Have demonstrated good written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to demonstrate good planning and organisational skills
  • Have a strong safety awareness
  • Have a current WA Driver’s Licence
