Engineering Apprentice (Fitter/Machinist)

Pacific Hoseflex has an immediate start opportunity for an Apprentice Fitter-Machinist to join our well-established company.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a Certificate III Mechanical Engineering. 

How You’ll Make a Difference 

Working closely with the QLD Production Team, your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Learn how to setup, operate and program CNC lathes
• Learn how to setup and operate manual lathes and manual universal milling machines
• Participate in on-the-job training 
• Participate in scheduled maintenance

The successful candidate should demonstrate the following: 

• A genuine desire to become a qualified engineering tradesperson 
• Have a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail 
• Self-motivation with a positive work ethic 
• Commitment to on and off the job training 
• A willingness to learn and work within a team environment 
• Strong commitment to WHS 
• ​Driver licence and a reliable vehicle would be preferred
