3rd or 4th Year Engineering Apprentice Welder

We are currently looking for a mature 3rd or 4th year apprentice Welder to join our team at Hilton Manufacturing

Working with qualified and skilled Welders you will gain valuable hands on experience, mentoring and support while continuing to develop your welding and fabrication skills.

Duties will involve:  

• Apply welding principles and techniques
• Assisting with general welding and fabrication work
• Use workshop machines for basic operations 
• Carry out mechanical cutting 

The successful candidate will:  

• Be a confident communicator 
• Be able to undertake manual/physical work 
• Motivated with a genuine interest in the welding and the fabrication industry
• Be trustworthy and reliable 
• ​Have a high level of attention to detail 
• Be willing to work as part of a team and take direction from experienced tradespeople

We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in pursuing welding and fabrication as a career, is motivated to learn and is committed to completing their apprenticeship and becoming trade qualified.

To be eligible for this apprenticeship/traineeship opportunity, you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights in Australia.
